Today is Wednesday, May 7th, 4 days before Mother's Day 2008 - I just called Grape Street Cafe to find out if they are having a Mother's Day Brunch or Mother's Day menu and the person that answered the phone didn't know and was told to call back when the manager arrived. I called back later only to find that the manager and chef are debating whether they are going to do anything "special" for the day. Uhhhh... no thanks. I would rather take my mother to a place that is more "on top of it" with their menu planning for special events. I had a friend recommend Grape Street Cafe, but definitely don't want to take a chance on a place with such poor planning. I wanted my money to go to a local small neighborhood establishment, but I'm forced to spend money in one of the resort/casinos. Disappointed.

One of my favorites: The food, wine selection, etc., here is very good, especially the filet mignon oscar. Lunch is also very good, and reasonably priced. This is one of the best places in Las Vegas. I'm glad I live close by!!!
