| About: | Muldoon's is the legendary Southern California Irish Pub, completing its 34th year as an Independent restaurant. We are known for our consistency in providing a great atmosphere, the freshest food using the finest ingredients, and the most genuine, caring staff around. To us, our customers are not a number, they are family. The layout consists of a 12 table dining room with fireplace, a heated patio, the Dublin pub, and the Celtic bar. Our Beef is only "Certified Angus" brand which is the top 8% of all beef. There is no better value in fine steaks in all of the O.C! Check out our wine list. Owner's Ron & Sindi Schwartz like to put on some incredible values for the guests to take advantage of. Save room for the best apple pie around! It is a 100 year old recipe, made with 5 lbs. of apples in every pie. The crust is a homemade butter crust made from scratch every day. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMuldoon's Irish Pub & Restaurant - Excellent: I enjoy going here when it is not crowded. It is always a delightful place to enjoy a pint of Guinness or some Irish whiskey. The bartenders and waitresses are very nice. On certain nights an Irish band will play live music. The food is also very enjoyable, and the Big Newport is right next door so you can walk to a movie after drinking and eating.

You'll be a stranger but once....: Muldoons offers excellent service, great selection of quality food dishes, and a friendly atmosphere that's hard to beat. Their Shepherd's Pie (made with beef - Cottage Pie) is the best in Orange County and worth the drive.
The dining room is ideal for a romantic supper, the original pub bar captures the ambience of a true pub - small and cozy, and especially inviting on Sunday evenings when local Irish bands supply the entertainment. Courtyard brunches are hard to beat, especially when there's a Sunday afternoon concert with The Fenians or Young Dubs. The most important ingredient that helps Muldoons stand out from other good pubs, is the staff. They are consistently friendly, professional, and make you feel welcome.
This is the 'one' place I recommend for business lunches/dinners as well as personal get togethers with family and friends.
