I attended a wedding last Saturday, July 18, which was catered by Pasta Jay's at the Koenig Alumni building in Boulder. The food was absolutely delicious, however, one of the caterers, a woman with dark hair and awfully short bangs was not very nice. She was as a matter of fact rude. As we were getting our appetizers, she had told us, that we needed to wait until every one had their share and that we needed to wait until dinner was served. It is not so much what she said, but the manner that she said it. As I heard, she did the same to the best man, who in return told her "I am the best man". And she did the same to the groom, apparently she did not know he was the groom because he wore the same outfit as the groomsmen. I heard he told her that it was his wedding, that made her changed her attitude a little bit. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. With special mention of the tall young man, with curly hair. He was very polite. The food was good, but that woman which I heard her name was Leanne or something like that, was just unpleasant. She needs to get more training, not only in catering, but in public relations, poise and proper etiquette.
OK, I've read the reviews by the people who don't like good food. (There really are people out there like that) Pasta Jays is far and away my favorite Italian place. My favorite place of any kind. Everything I've tried has been excellent. My favorite is the stuffed portobello. The atmosphere is really nice. They can open up the windows on two sides when the weather is warm enough. It's in Boulder, so the views are awsome. Especially when seated outside. The servers are always very friendly and helpful. I've dined there
maybe 100 times and only twice has the food or service been less than a perfect 10. Don't listen to the bafoons who can't be anything but critical. (Makes then feel big and important, I guess) Try Past Jays yourself and write your own review.
Yuk! Bad food, bad service but hot wait staff! The only thing this place has going for it are the great looking girls that work there.
