User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsVisited this location on 12/20/09. I won't go back because of the service we received from one of their customer service reps. Maybe she doesn't have that title, from the way she didn't service us in a customer friendly way...I would have to think that she just appeared and decided to say something because we were standing in line awaiting the assistance of the young man helping another customer. I really didn't think it would be so hard to call another store location to check an item we wanted to buy from Best Buy, but Allie proved that to be false. She went so far as telling us that the phone didn't work, but she'd be happy to give us the number & skus so that we could call ourselves! Really??? WOW - Shut the front door! As busy as the store is and as big as it is, you would think if the phones weren't working someone would be working on that immediately...not according to Allie. As we walked over to the music section to check on a cd, I asked a sales person to contact the Hoover/Trussville locations by phone...he called immediately...WOW - Shut the front door again - the phone system was back in service after only 60 seconds - thanks Allie for sending us to Game Stop - we got everything Best Buy offered plus a FREE Game. Merry Christmas and thanks Cedric (sales rep in music dept.) for servicing the customer with genuine care and concern : D
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsfyi: The above hours are incorrect - they open at 11 on sudays & close at 9 on all weeknights. Also, they turn on the 'we're closed' automated phone message before they actually do.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWORST Best Buy Experience: This Best Buy provided us with a horrible experience. Not only were they rude to us, but they made us wait over 30 minutes for help and then another 20 after that to tell us they didn't have one of the items we wanted. When we asked to talk to a manager about an issue, an employee called them instead of getting them. We ended up leaving instead of spending 2 grand there. HORRIBLE!!!! Never again!
