Amazing food, and great view. We went on a Sunday night and got right in at around 5pm, it then did get busy. The food was wonderful, my brother got a "full pound" chicken fajita meal that (he said) was great, hubby got a hamburger he loved, and I got the philly that was wonderful as well. The chocolate cake slice was HUGE - we took it back to the hotel as we were too full to eat it after dinner. The cake was amazingly tasty too!
The view was amazing, a bit hot till the sun went over the mountian, but well worth it.
The only thing I suggest is to make sure whatever you are driving has great breaks as getting up and down the hill into Jerome and back is a bit trying with the steep incline and the curves, but again, well worth it.
Great food, great atmosphere: I love eating out on the porch in the sumer time, it feels like you're eating in the trees, with wonderful views. The is food is great and the help are very friendly.
Great Views and Food!: We were visiting from Wisconsin & loved the little town of Jerome, AZ. An excellent way to build up an appetite is walking from shop to gallery, street upon winding street, taking in the view along with the work of local artisans. The Haunted Hamburger was recommended to us by a local shop owner & we saw a few other "locals" eating there as well (the cop/sheriff & some other road workers.) Always a good sign that the food is good & priced right. The burgers were HUGE & done to order. There was even a topping bar that allowed you to finish it just the way you wanted. Service was fast and friendly - even during the busy lunch hour, when there was quite a turnover - yet we were never rushed. We were seated on the screened veranda with a great view overlooking the town - all the way over to Sedona and beyond. They also have an indoor dining room and small bar. The place was very clean, but the building was a little old and rickety - adding (positively) to the ghost town feel :-)
