User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI went to Jorie last year and I lost 35 lbs. It works very well by reducing your appetite. After awhile I just couldn't lose anymore and I stopped taking the pills. The pills do work but once you get off of them prepared to maintain your diet because you will gain all the weight back very fast. I'm thinking of going back to lose the weight I gained back.

Does anyone know if there's any type of physical examination at jorie and if so, what does the exam entail exactly? What can I expect in my first visit? Please help!!!

I went to jorie weightloss center today. It was very clean the staff were very nice and I was in and out in 30 min. I have tried every diet in the book and i have heard nothing but great things on this weightloss plan. I went in today weighing at 153 lbs and im 5'0. I have to go back in two weeks for my b12 shot. I hope this works. I will keep you posted on my weightloss in two weeks!!

jojo - i went to jorie and it does work. so be prepared to see a change. i lost 35 lbs total. also be prepared to have the feeling that you "hate" food. im not saying that's a guarantee, but i'd eat a little bit of food and then feel sick if i forced myself to eat more. also, make sure you drink LOTS of water and workout. the lbs will melt off. lastly, make sure you go to your primary care physician to get a physical/exam done regularly so you know how your body is responding to the pills and the shot. good luck.

Kristi thanks for the tips. I weighed myself today and iam down to 145! I'm so excited. I have been drinking plenty of water and careful with what I eat. However I still get hungry even taking the pills. I got the 30 mg. Did you feel hungry at all? It seems like I still have to fight my hunger during the day. How long did it take you to loose 35 lbs?

they take you in a room they weigh you, take your blood pressure and ask you a few questions...ie when was your last physical, how much are you trying to lose...than you go in the room with a doctor he ask about your medical history and talks about the program and the eating habits and you pick up your pills and pay on the way out.
