I would not recommend Luna. Terrible service. They blew us off for our consultation. They sent a confirmation email 4 days before saying they'd be at our house at 9am. When we called at 10:30am they said there was a 2 hour window and they'd arrive by 11am. When we called again at 12:30pm they said they sent us an email saying they couldn't make it!! NO phone call. Like I sit staring at my email all day! In this economy you'd think they be begging for our business. How could I possibly purchase from them with such poor service when they're trying to earn my business. As a family that works long hours Mon-Fri, they wasted a 1/4 of our precious weekend. Very disappointed!
Consumers have few honest, reliable options nowadays. My husband & I had a wood floor installed in our family room last year and we were very pleased with the result. The company we used sold their business and we had to find another company. After months of research we decide to give Luna a try. They came to the Maryland market recently and their salesman, Dwayne was very courteous & professional. We gave him a sample of the wood floor from our spare pieces as he did not have anything in his samples that matched except for a laminated product. He wrote the product we needed on our order, with a promise that he would return with the actual sample a few days later, and he wrote in our contract that we would not be committed until we approved the accurate sample. He came back 2 more times with samples that were not what we had ordered. He finally called me to tell me that they would be unable to install the floor we wanted. It seems Luna lures consumers under false pretenses, tries to convince the customer to accept what they have in stock, not what we want. Too bad for Luna we are educated consumers and know what we want. The moral is folks-do your homework and don't be lured by unscrupulous companies like Luna and other quick service, next day-type flooring companies. You will not get satisfaction. I would have preferred not to select even 1 star, but in order to post a review you have to pick at least 1.
Stay away from LUNA!! I ordered a carpet for my basement and told my salesperson I needed it installed by a certain date. "NO PROBLEM" he says. Three days later they show up my house and start installing the WRONG color carpet. I called Luna and they stated I would have to wait another 5 days for installation. They offered no apology what so ever. When I told them I wanted to be refunded at least 50 percent, they laughed and told me they had already given me a "rock" bottom price on my carpet! In reality, that carpet was going to cost me more than Home Depot or Menards!!!! I told them if they were not willing to compensate me they would have to come back to my home and remove the padding and refund my deposit. They said sure we will send someone back to remove the padding. Their customer service is a complete joke!! Please don't be fooled like I was. Call some other company and save yourself the headache!!!!
