the food is just like it used to be 20 years ago the new owners are great it is one of the girls of the of first owner that run it for many years before he died. its now clean fast and the food is great. we havnt been there in years becouse it got so bad but since january when we seen the sing that it was under new owners we stoped in and its never been so good we go there 2 or 3 times a month when we go to mt airy. the prices are cheep the food is great very frindly and thay are playin the 50s music. and you have to try the deep fryed snickers wow it don't get any better

What Happened???: For years, whenever I visit the Mt. Airy area, I always stop at the West Pine Kitchen for their fantastic ground steak sandwiches. This most recent visit, however, I was somewhat disappointed that my usually fantastic sandwich that is literally falling apart when you take it out of the wrapper from the amount of steak on it has become more bun than steak???? The price is still reasonable but the lack of ingredients between the bun left me wondering if I need to find a new place to go when that ground steak craving hits. I didn't order just one either... when I go, I pick up atleast 8 - 10 for family and all of them were skimpy!
