    Better than Long John Silver's: Since we don't have a lot of options in Minot for seafood, Captain's Cove holds its own with little competition. The crab legs are well-prepared -- I've had them several times and never had the mushy legs you can sometimes find at restaurants of this level. The batter-fried fish is truly great; the cole slaw, while a small portion, is tasty (they just recently tweaked their recipe)... and the corn muffins are a real treat. The only drawbacks are the occcasionally slow service and the poor attempt at creating ambiance (you still feel like you're at Long John Silver's, but the menu's prices tell you differently). My son likes the jello that comes with the kids' meal. All in all, it's a place worth a trying.
