   MoreThe Jewish Home Campus is nestled against the foothills of the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains north of Harrisburg and is easily accessible from the network of highways surrounding Pennsylvania's Capital City. On the Campus, residents and visitors will find the Jewish Home, a skilled nursing facility where we provide nursing services, rehabilitation and care for people with cognitive problems. Founded in 1974, the Jewish Home continues to be recommended by physicians, discharge planners, clergy, case managers and families who want their loved ones cared for with skill, warmth, dignity and compassion. The Residence, a 12-year-old, Independent Living/Personal Care apartment building on the Campus, offers Catered Living to seniors who prefer to live in a congregate setting. The Campus Café where visitors, staff and residents can grab a sandwich, soup, and salad from the salad bar and a wide variety of beverages and desserts. There are daily "specials" and "soup and sandwich" offerings, all reasonably priced. (All food in the Café is Glatt Kosher meat and parve, under the strict Rabbinical supervision of Rabbi Dr. Chaim Schertz).
