Kilroys Pizza & Cafe

Kilroys is great. Everytime I'm back home we're sure to eat there. In a small town like Sedgwick little mom and pop restaurants tend to come and go but Kilroys is a staple. They're still around because they get it right. Fantastic pizza, good burgers, great subs and friendly folks to boot. If you've never been you should know that its mostly a take-out joint but there is also a small dining room that you can always feel comfortable in. The pizza is always a sure bet. Its as good or better than any of the big pizza chains. The burgers are typical diner burgers, nothing special but delicious nonetheless. On the other hand the sub sandwiches are a real treat. Personally I go for the Italian sub but they're all tasty. Kilroys is worth a trip from Newton, Bently, Halstead or Valley Center but mostly its here for the hometown folks. Sedgwick isn't exactly a vast metropolis but you'll find everything you need from a hometown pizza joint in Kilroys. The only drawback might be that they keep typical small town hours - no late night pizza from Kilroys.
