Beware Disgruntled Employees! My dogs have been treated at Van Crest for both routine visits and emergency. Having been a dog owner for many years, and having experiences with several vets in Charlotte and Columbia, not only have I found the pricing reasonable but the care and attention more than satisfactory. I would advise anyone reading some of the negative comments here to factor in they mainly stem from what appears disgruntled employees with a chip on their shoulder. I've never had a bad experience taking my pets to this vet's office. Dr. Chambers is excellent, the staff is wonderful and warm, cleanliness is the best I've seen, and everyone is extremely careful with our babies. When my kitty was diagnosed with a UTI, Dr. Chambers took the time to talk with me about long-term prevention and diet changes, and has answered my phone calls and questions since then. Most amazingly, my dog isn't afraid of the vet! While we were in the exam room, he made fast friends with the staff. He was comfortable and actually seemed to be having a good time. Their prices are reasonable; I've paid far more at other offices for substandard care, yet have never had a problem paying Van Crest. This is the office I recommend to anyone I know looking for good primary pet care.
