BAD Customer Service! If I have known of these reviews earlier, I would have stayed completely away from VW. Driver's airbag and horn were not working; scheduled an appointment, that took two weeks. After getting it looked at, they needed the parts for it. That took another week. After the parts came, it took another 3 weeks to schedule another appointment. In all, it took almost 2 MONTHS to have my AIRBAG and HORN fixed--two very vital parts of safety! How can you drive without a working horn and a malfunctioned airbag?!!?!??!
First VW car... and will be the last for me and all my friends and families. Even if the car runs good, you don't want to deal with this type of pathetic service. I'm regretting and wishing I would have just jumped on the Honda bandwagon and save myself. Heck, I would rather drive a 10-year-old car than VW.
Horrible cust service, and way too much attitude. I'm sure it's from the Executives on down.
Can you give lower than one star? Everything posted by other reviewers is true. Appointments are needed and are generally not for two to three weeks after calling. It is extremely rare to get a call with a status on your vehicle. It took MONTHS to have my A/C fixed after erroneously being told that it was working perfectly three different times. More than once I have been told that my car was ready only to show up and find out that it was still in pieces. Also, there is either a rampant lack of automotive knowledge or a tendency to spout off incorrect information and techno-babble in the hopes that customers will be baffled and not question the diagnosis.
I am just tired of feeling like I have to grovel and beg in order to spend $3000 on shoddy repairs; of being treated as if I am a nuisance and should be grateful that they would even look at my car. Going elsewhere has proven well worth the extra mileage.
Oh! And PLEASE quit telling me that my SUV is basically a Porsche with a VW logo. All that does is make me wish I was speaking with the Porsche service manager!
