Tellicafe

If you are traveling anywhere near Tellico Plains, this is the only place for lunch or dinner.
The food is great. Regular menu items as well as daily specials give lots of food choices.
The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is open and welcoming. I like the mountain view as well.

We moved here 2 years ago and the 1st place we ate was at the tellicafe and it was great. The food was the best and so was the service. although we had dinner there last tuesday and as we walked into the restaurant we saw what must have been the cook he was dressed in a sleveless shirt and bluejeans. I was appalled when I saw him sample the food he was cooking. When our food finely arrived it was not what we were use to from the tellicafe. I don't know what happen to the cook that they had before but I think they need to call him back or find another one that can cook. We always braged about the tellicafe but this is below their standards and ours.

The best ribs in the south! I live about 50 miles away and will go there just to have them for dinner.
