You know, up until recently I would have given this store at least 4 stars. I used to live in NJ and have given the store business since 1993. I purchased 2 full drum sets, an electronic set, a 4-track deck, several guitar pedals and countless other drum heads, guitar strings and other accessories.

While in the area this past Memorial Day, I visited the store again. One of the new Roland electronic sets looked really impressive, so I sat down at the set to give it a quick try. The sales guy had been sitting at the counter reading something and mostly ignoring the few people walking around. But he got up and came over to say, "Please don't play the drums in here, sir." and went to sit back down. With that, I got up and left the store. I'd definitely consider buying the Roland drums, but I'd go elsewhere to make the purchase.

I live in PA and will buy locally from now on. No point in worrying about giving business to a store that's going to be that way. Check out the store folks, it's nice. But don't count on being able to try anything... unless maybe you have the cash in your hand.
