NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE COFFEE HAUS FORMERLY IN LINCOLN SQUARE!!! This charming coffe spot is located in Downtown Arlington. It is independently owned and opperated by a wonderful family... both Father and son can be seen working side by side... not only can you get the freshest tastiest coffee around (they roast all there own beans) but you can get a wonderful haircut too! Thomas is fantastic!!! The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed with outside seating availible. There are many many regulars and if you go often you'll find yourself making new friends from the Mosaics church, surrounding businesses to the UTA crowed and even a local celebrity or two. The food is fantastic! If you are looking for a nice place for a teacher's luncheon, or bible study this is your place... on the same note if you want to hang with your seenster friends or study group or even a romantic date... this is youre place too... I can't imagine anyone feeling out of place at this establishment. From white hairs to purple hairs you are bound to see it all here while enjoying a fantastic cup of coffee!
I love the coffee house, relaxing nice and soothing. If i could open my own i would. I write this review at the Coffee Haus as a i sit in relaxing chair with a guy across form me sipping on mango tea layed back surfing the net. free of charge i might ask. with is computer plunged to the wall. I hear relaxing soft music playing in the back ground . to my left is a attractive college girl comfortably writhing a paper with her feet propped up and out side is a man surfing on his laptop with the wind gently whisking around him. Older people chatter lightly in the back ground. I'm siting here spin on izzie, here enjoying being around good people that want a lil bite to eat and surff the net and talk to a friend. Nice food low prices kick ass teas. Im not into coffee. It has big windows that the light just poors into. not to hot not to cold. Nice art is on the wall and the staff don't bather you. its like a star bucks but not pricie and most of all the staff let u be. They bring your food out to you fast and easy. the staff is down to earth with earings and tatoos but respectful service beyond commercial generated smiles. The staff seen like bartenders of the 70s you can talk to them and even make a friend. The sandwiches or cool and i don't see one damn nat. The cakes or soooo good. they even have soda. well just don't be in my seat if u see me there. lol kidding lol....come see the place take your mom or girl friend for a relaxing atmospheres.
Dangerously Delicious!
They roast their own beans, brew INDIVIDUAL cups of coffee, a mighty fine selection of loose leaf teas and the food is amazingly awesome--tasty pastries of fabulously fresh sandwiches made with love (I've watched the preparation of aforementioned sandwiches...they really do add love). The espresso has a wonderful full flavor and I can honestly say that I might panic if they were to cut off my supply. The atmosphere is very laid back (frequently playing Frank Sinatra/Judy Garland and the like), VERY close to campus and the staff is great. My only complaint: If only they were open later! CoffeeHaus closes at 9pm M-F and 10pm on Saturdays. No Sunday fixes, although this is forgiveable being that CoffeeHaus is also connected with a salon.
