Pay in cash or BEWARE!!!! TWICE i have gone to Umi for sushi in the past month. I paid with a credit card both times. The first time I noticed they added about 20% on TOP of my tip!!! I figured I would let it slide but last week I went back again. I got my statement today and what did i see, they added about 20% AGAIN to my bill.

Once could be seen as a mistake(kind of) but twice is a trend and complete BS. I don't know if they are doing poorly and need to rip off their customers or if they are just greedy a**holes. Either way, I IMPLORE anyone who has paid in CC recently to check their statement. Most likely they have been scamed. Sad thing is, the sushi was rather good and it is convenient for me.

They have officially lost a customer and I hope that if you decide to go to Umi, that you pay in CASH!!!

Also, i gave this 5 stars so that people could see this as I REALLY would obviously be giving them 1 star for stealing money from me twice.
