Just went there for the first time 2 days ago when my ferret got sick. Dr. Williams was the best, he wrote me a scrip and when all the pharmacies didn't have the medicine in stock he took time after he was supposed to be off the clock to make calls and fax papers so I could go somewhere to get her medicine and not wait for the morning, and this was her first visit with Dr. Williams so she was a brand new patient, he was also veryt knowledgeable and caring, too many vets now have no "bedside manner" and just act cold and detached but he really seemed to care and so did the staff. I also got a ton of useful advice and a follow up call. Now my baby is eating on her own and acting almost back to normal! Will definitely make this place my primary vet if they will take on more new patients (I have 6 ferrets). I would highly recommend this vet and animal hospital for your pet and not just for ferret owners but any animals of course. Oh and PS their fees are reasonable as well.

first off i would like to say, assonet animal hospital is one of the best places my wife and i and our dogs have been. Nothing but kind, happy people there. They are very helpful and don't try to make you get things that aren't needed for your pet. And most of all very reasonable prices.. I have dealt with many other animal hospitals and i highly recommend assonet.
