| About: | Granada Theater is a great place to take in a movie and dinner all at once. Traditional movie seats have been replaced with tables and chairs, giving it a restaurant feel. Before the lights go down, take note of the early 1950s architecture featuring a balcony with exquisitely painted walls. On the menu, you'll find burgers, pizza and salads along with beer and a limited assortment of wine. The best thing about the Granada is the price. Come and join in the fun. |

Easily the Best Venue in Dallas, if Not Texas: Great sound system (50,000 watts!); gorgeous, cool and comfortable environment; convenient location (i.e. not Deep Ellum); friendly and efficient waitstaff and management; great food and an imaginative menu---in short, everything Dallas has been lacking for years, under one roof.
It's no wonder that acts ranging from Bob Dylan to John Cale, from Robin Trower to Sigur Ros make the Granada their prime musical stop through the D/FW Metroplex.
I have attended over 50 shows at the Granada and can attest that the previous comment about being overcharged is completely unfounded. Perhaps this patron visited the Granada under it's previous ownership, before Mike Schoder
took over the reigns.
Give the Granada a chance--your time and effort will be amply rewarded.
THEY'LL OVERCHARGE YOUR DEBIT CARD!: I have been to the Granada for 9 different shows and each time the bar has overcharged my debit card! I stopped going after management told me there was nothing they could do!
