Great fun!
We had an hour and a half wait, but that is to be expected on a Saturday night before Halloween. The place was decorated great and the staff (especially Kat) was exceptional.
The fried pickles with Ranch was delicious, and although the menu is limited, the food was really good. The green beans will remind you of your country grandma's and the peach cobbler with cinnamon ice cream puts the whole meal over the top.
We plan to go back later in the year when everyone else isn't looking for a haunted dinner too!
Did we see a ghost-no, it could be a planned marketing scheme, but the town is charming and the food and atmosphere was great.
GREAT SERVICE!!! We did have a long wait to get a table. However, when visiting a real haunted restaurant near Halloween, I would expect it to be busy. The service was phenomenal... real country style. The food was excellent. I recommend the stuffed crab, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The food was so southern, fresh, and tasted like it was homemade... OMG, and the peach cobbler... it was to die for... I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I will go back!
Very bad service. After waiting almost an hour on a 20 minute wait for a table. Staff sat parties that arrived well after we did simply because we were on 3 and would leave an empty seat at a table that would hold 4. It's a pity because we used to really like the place, but one bad experience can turn you off forever. Take your chances at getting a table if you go with a small party. It seems they are more interested in packing the place than taking care of the customers.
