My dog had never been to Village Vet before and I needed to get an emergency visit for my dog and I called around to different vets trying to get him in quick as possible,(regular vet was not open yet) no one would take him because the hour wasn't convienant for their hours. Village Vet was the only one that said bring him in now! If it was not for the wonderful staff and doctors at Village Vet my baby would not have been seen quickly and feeling better so soon. That shows they care!!
I am truly considering changing my dog's regular vet to Village Vet for the better service and emergency care that was given so quick!
I don't know what vet you went to; but Dr Elliason and the other vets and rest of staff are nothing but friendly, big-hearted animal lovers. These are people who come out from behind the counters to pet my animal, the vets get down on the floor to see my elderly dog. I receive phone calls to check on my animals after any procedures. As for the money factor, try the other vet in town and see if you want to pay that amount.
This veterinary practice gets huge thumbs up from everyone I've spoken to.
I do not consider the staff very friendly; each and every time I have made contact with them they are very rude and seem to not want to help; but are definitly willing to take $400 + dollars from us.

I'm in total agreement- When we needed our Lab of 10 years put to rest,Dr Elliason was at our home in less that 1/2 hr of calling her. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she put our pet to rest. We have another Lab now and I wouldn't take her anywhere but Village Vet. All the staff are A1 in our book.
