   My twin brother, David, recently died and I had no idea who to go to or what to do when planning his funeral. I searched on line and found Heritage Memorial in Huntington Beach, CA. I really had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. First of all, me, my Mother and my brothers' wife were the primary people planning the arrangements. I took the lead role to help the best I could. We thought we might need to talk to a few places as David wanted to be cremated, but the family wanted a service with a viewing.
   
   Heritage Memorial was wonderful in helping us plan this out and very accommodating to ensure the family was able to attend. My sister in law was out of the country when my brother passed, so it took us a few days before we could really start planning. We were planning to do a church event, but unfortunately we needed the funeral to take place on Saturday and the church we attend was not available. We asked Heritage to help us plan the entire service, since our local pastor is out of town, so he would not be able to officiate. The Chaplain at Heritage, Robert Jabro, was our contact from the start and he was very accommodating to all of our needs including our financial situation. He made recommendations and worked with us to ensure we had a service that we would be at peace with. The owner of Heritage Memorial stepped up when we had financial concerns and helped us to make our service beautiful. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Heritage Memorial is run. They respect your loved ones and treat you as if you are royalty.
   
   The suggestions, Video diary, memory table and eulogy, that Chaplain Jabro made and carried out at the service made the family so thankful that we chose this Memorial Service. The service was absolutely beautiful and the Chaplain seemed as if he knew my brother personally. I have buried another brother, 6 years ago, and the service was nothing compared to this. I regret that I did not know Chaplain that the service was the most beautiful she had ever seen and she knows where she will come for her family in the event of death. I know that death is not a pleasant subject and most people don't want to think ahead about it, but I hope that this review can help even one family when they are dealing with tragedy. My brother, David was only 43 and his death was a great surprise to everyone, he seemed happy and healthy just the day before we found him. My brother, Mike that passed 6 years ago was only 39. I wish I did not have this experience to have to write about, but am glad that I found such a great Mortuary to work with. While I am still in shock and grieving my brothers’ death, I am so thankful that I chose such a wonderful place to honor my brothers passing.
