User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI enjoyed the variety of products they had at this store. I felt that they had many more organic products than the other larger grocers carry in this town. I was especially pleased with the Penzey's spices they offered, as I've never seen those anywhere else in town. The produce prices seemed a little higher than, say, what you can get a Wal-Mart; however, coming from California, I guess I'm used to paying more. My one suggestion would be to further train the employees in customer service. The checkout woman and the woman who seemed to be the manager NEVER greeted or much less smiled at us when we were there. They never even said thank you after we paid! It's definitely no Trader Joe's.....or Whole Foods, but it works for what it is.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHate this store.....bought prepared slad....got it home and the lettuce had turned rusty....took back clerk acted like she could care less. Prices TOO HIGH. They have so much stuff that doen't have anything to do with real groceries.....whats with the candy....too much....spend your money on somethings people could really use. Selection not good...produce WAY TOO HIGH.....I will not be back nor will I recommend.

The prices for many items are priced extremely highter than any where else. And when they run out of an item, you never see it again.

Ben, I know a lot of the organics and natural items are a bit pricier than conventional grocery items. But our price checks show that LJFM is competitively priced, on average for national brands. And if there are items that you like that are no longer being stocked, just ask for Nancy Morris. She is in charge of making sure that the items you want are stocked in the store. If our suppliers no longer can get us the item, Nancy will order the item off the internet, if necessary. It is our goal to always have in stock the items you want. I hope you'll give Nancy a call or visit. Thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts.

AA -- we've taken your review to heart, and worked on the things you've said. Starting early February, we will be increasing the number of organic and natural items in the store. We've also dedicated a new Customer Service representative to the checkout area. We've received lots of positive comments from our shoppers on our improved checkout experience. This still doesn't have all of Columbus knocking down the doors to shop with all of the riff raff you employee .I would sugguest you fire everyone and start over with a new bunch of igmo's .Your store will always have a Piggly Wiggly feel to it no matter what products you bring in to sell .The customers who shop there are not interested in organics and natural items .I don't think the EBT card pays for those .Good luck !! In a year the doors will be closed at this rate .
