My family went to dinner at Suzette on September 11, 2008, to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We have been there before and have always enjoyed ourselves. Last night, was an exception.
I had made reservations for 10, but when we arrived at Suzette, the table had been set for only 8 people. There was another large party at the restaurant, but other than that, the place was deserted. It took about 10 minutes for the ONE server to get the tables set up with enough chairs.
After she finally took our order, it took about an hour before we were finally served. Someone else in our party observed that only ONE person was cooking in the kitchen.
Most of the food was fine, but I'd stay away from the squash soup. It tasted more like potato soup with an orange color.
Because there was only one server, it took 5 to 7 minutes for our entire group to be served, as she only brought out one or two plates at a time.
After dinner, it once again took forever to receive our bill.
I heard that the original owner sold to someone else and that lots of people have been disappointed lately. It's too bad, because it used to be a nice place to go.
Very disappointing. We probably won't be going back.
