Horrible experience!!! My dog was not given proper care, allowed to sit in his urine and fecis for who knows how long. His white paws were stained yellow from his urine. They recommended to drug my dog because he is hyper versus exercising him. He was placed in a kennel too small because he's agile and can climb their seven foot open kennel. His food and water bowls were left in the kennel and were spilled over. When I brought him home he was extremely thirsty. I had to bathe him as well. He only was in the kennel for five days. The staff was rude on pick up and treated my girlfriend badly. So badly the Dr. called later on in the evening to apologize for her behavior. They offer the cheapest prices around but I do not recommend this business. It is true that you get what you pay for.
I have been in this hospital about 5 times. First time when I brought in stray cat with terrible leg injury. Dr Wells was great, very nice and polite person. And very generous. He did not charge me for the surgery, just office visit and medication. Cat recovered quickly and I adopted him.
But receptionist in the hospital, I agree, is very rude person.
Very sad.
My cat had to have her teeth cleaned. First they told me I had to call between 2 and 3 to see if my cat was up from the surgery. I always had veternarians call me. I thought it strange. They told me my cat wasn't up yet and to call at 4pm. So I called at 4:30pm and they said my cat was up, but had not stood yet and to come in at 5pm. When I got there my cat was barely awake. They gave me pain meds for her and I told them I did not sign off on pain meds (I had a bad experience with pain meds with my last cat). The receptionsist made me feel bad by saying "you don't want her to be in pain do you?" So I took the pain meds home and looked up the drug. The pain meds were responsible for killing many pets. Not only that, but my cat slept for 3 days (with me waking her for food and carrying her to the litter box). I'd be careful using this vet.
