The first time my husband and I went to Silverdale Dental Center, I was so surprised by the greeting we received from the ladies at the front desk. Usually when you go to a dental or medical office, you're lucky if the receptionist even acknowledges you're there. The front desk crew at SDC was so hospitable and made my husband and I feel immediately at ease. Historically, going to the dentist isn't something I've enjoyed. Now that we've become regular patients at SDC, I'm not nearly as nervous about it as I used to be. Dr. Niemeyer is our dentist at Silverdale Dental. Not only does he talk to you and explain things in a way that you'll understand, he does his best to make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. I went in this morning to have two cavities filled (I know, I know, flossing isn't my strong suit) and was a bit worried about the pain I might feel. I can honestly say I felt NO pain. Dr. Niemeyer took the numbing process very slowly so that he was sure I'd feel no discomfort and asked every minute or so how I was doing. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving his patients the very best treatment at the very least amount of discomfort. Now, I'm not going to say going to the dentist is my new favorite thing to do, but Dr. Niemeyer and the rest of the staff at Silverdale Dental Center have absolutely made it a more enjoyable experience for me, and I won't be apprehensive about my future appointments knowing what kind and capable hands I'm in.
