Revived my daughter's education: My daughter was behind in school and not sure that she wanted to graduate high school. She came to The Tutoring School when she was a Sophomore and not only did she learn all the key information that she had missed earlier, but she really knows how to USE that data! After attending CV High School, with a very large student body, she was very glad to be in a smaller environment where she could get more individualized attention.

She gets lots of help from the teachers when needed as the student-teacher ratio is very low -- like one teacher for every 7 students or so. She can move at her own pace so she can take extra time when she needs to understand something better and move faster when she gets it. She will now be graduating a semester early with good grades and excellant skills in all her academics.

The teachers really take an interest in her education and help her in a way that she is validated and winning in school. All the staff are friendly and helpful and really make sure every student is doing well. The number of students is small enough for everyone to know everyone.

I highly recommend The Tutoring School to students who either need a little extra help and would benefit from the one on one help from the teachers or for those bright students who are ahead and are bored in school. Because the students can move at their own pace, they are able to get a lot more out of their education and keep their interest high in their academics. They also can have their curriculum tailored to their specific goals, interests and abilities.

The Tutoring School does not offer a lot of extracurricular activities (arts, music, etc.) nor physical education, but this ends up being an advantage as they are then able to give your child credit for being active in the types of activities that are of interest to them in the community, like horseback riding or soccer or studying an instrument of their choice with a professional musician.

We have had a very positive experience the last 2 1/2 years while my daughter attended The Tutoring School.
