The food is the best!!!! Take out or eat-in it's the same great stuff. Teryaki meat is very tasty and tender, the salad dressing, the sauses, the miso soup and the korean herb tea with pine nuts just makes it all come together very nicely. The waitresses are always nice and friendly, and the place is rarely crowded even on Friday nights. When it is busy, the wait for the food could be awhile, but it's well worth it. Definitely will be going there often.
The best Teriyaki in town. Friendly staff and great dishes. Always a loyal customer. Super price!
Just had a beef teriyaki there. Ordered it to go. The meat was delicious and very tender. Minimal amount of fat on the meat.
The salad left much to be desired. It was just iceburg lettuce and nothing else other than the dressing. The dressing itself was very good. Still though, compared to the beef teriyaki, the salad should have atleast had some cucumber or tomato or carrots so that it complements the teriyaki dish. But instead, it cheapens the whole meal.
The restaurant inside is a fair size. Larger than you might expect from the outside. Once inside though, some disappointment sets in. The place is very cluttered inside. And unfortunately like many asian restaurants I've been to, the carpet is FILTHY! So dirty that wouldn't even feel comfortable taking some one to eat there. Such a shame because their teriyaki has so much potential if they would just get the other things up to par.
Bottom line... Toeshi's teriyaki makes great teriyaki if you're just in it for the meat. They could be one of the best teriyaki restaurants in town if they ever got their side items up to the standards of their teriyaki and cleaned up the inside of the restaurant, either deep clean that carpet or replace it, and start having regular carpet cleaning service done. For goodness sake, it doesn't cost that much. Re-organize the inside of the restaurant so it doesnt look so cluttered, get some nicer lighting, and move it up a notch when it comes to choices in decore. Then this place would really rock. Maybe then I would be willing to actually eat there and take friends to try the place. Then I could give an even better review including the service there.
