Cedars in Kennewick WA is on the water with a beautiful view of the cable bridge and the Columbia River. Thie is the most dependable place in SE Washington for scrumtious, fresh seafood, plus out of mainstream fish like Ono, King Crab, oysters. It is simply excellent. The other reviews must be biased, I think. Lots of variety including steak and chicken dishes as well. Good and polite service. Relaxing ambiance with wood and glass pleasing design. Pricey but they earn it.
On Clover Island - The atmosphere was great, the service was + average, the food was far below average. Our party ordered the King Salmon with Lemon Caper Butter Saucue, and we received Salmon on top of Kale lettuce with no sauce. The attempted sauce was on the side in a seperate dish (the type you recieve your butter in for your pancakes at a breakfast place). It was melted butter with some capers in the bottom.
The place has potential, but they need a new chef (PERIOD)!
Not worth the money!
Cedars on Clover Island: I had the New York steak! It was divine. The hostess and servers were all so kind and motivated to give me great service. They all smiled and made sure I was happy. I loved watching the sunset on the river through the big windows. The whole restaurant is beautiful, warm, and relaxing. I am so pleased I spent the evening there.
