So unimpressed. As a former vet tech and as a previous client to this clinic 5 yrs ago I thought this would be a positive visit. However, I won't go back. Sloppy reception work. She did not schedule a return visit although the rescue cat I brought in was obviously very very sick. I was simply told that she must return in 2 wks. I just stood there waiting and the receptionist immediately attended a walk-in without even terminating my check out.
I was not educated by the Dr., tech or receptionist about the contagiousness of this sick kitty's illness (I had to google it.) No one demonstrated how to administer the 3 meds orally and in the ears. The receptionist simply told me from behind her counter and put the meds away in a bag. She was impatient with me as I clarified her spoken instructions. (Good thing I can resort to vet tech experience.) Plus, I was charged as a new client (I guess since it's been so long.) That is just bad business.
Dr. Goshert acted rushed (and they claimed she spent "lots of time".) She did not give me time to discuss all symptoms therefore treatment can't be effective. I know what a "wellness exam" is and at $51 she did nothing more than stick a thermometer where it belongs. No compassoin, no empathy. Their hurry up get-em-in-n-out and overall apathetic, jaded attitude can be cut with a knife. I and the kitty felt worse AFTER leaving.
Update: I received the courteous call back the next morning after I advised them that the kitty was sicker now than what she demonstrated at the clinic. All the receptionist (I will respectfully leave anonymous) said after I expressed my disappointment in their practice was, "Ok, is there anything else we can do for you?" I replied, "No, I'll just go elsewhere." "Ok," said she. click.
That's the kind of treatment I want to see in a veterinary clinic.....after spending $253.00 on the initial visit.
