I'm not sure what the other reviewers ate, but this was the absolute WORST chinese food I have ever eaten. I ordered crab rangoon, generals chicken, and chef special lo mein. I have noticed that the place is dead everytime i go to the food lion to buy groceries and now I know why. Right now my girlfriend is cooking our dinner because we tossed it in the garbage.
The "chicken" in the generals was more breading than meat, was soggy, and there was almost no sauce. The crab rangoon was too sweet and had dried out spots from setting uncovered in the cooler. The eggroll was greasy and they must of run out of the wrappers because they used a springroll wrapper. The pork in the fried rice was rancid, the chicken in the chefs special tasted "aged". There was more rice than food in the containers. Even the noodle dish was full of rice.... Who puts rice in a noodle dish?
If you have to cut corners to keep your food cost in line they you will lose customers as a result. I will NEVER eat there again.
DONT underestimate the food: Looking for something good and worth your pocket. This is one you need to go. The teryikai beef stick is so amazing and the price is cheap compare if you want to go to Japanese restaurant which usually go around 10 bucks. Other recommendation is Chicken Garlic Sauce it is so delicious also the Boneless Ribs appeitizer. The menu had great variety of choice you wont be disappointed. Dont eat too fast you will get stuff easy, let your brian tell you when is full and not stuff.
Feed me good: Very good food, one of the best chinese I ever had in North Carolina. Since this is a take out, so dont bother to eat in. It is a very good take out restaurant if you feel like to grab and go. No service is involve since it is a take-out, Value is not bad 7-10 bucks can buy you 2 meals. They will make sure you are full and the chef always fill up the container as much as possible. Looking for take-out, this is the one.
