Start of a Thanksgiving Tradition?: We went to escape family and do our own thing for Thanksgiving. For people coming from Chicago such as ourselves this is a much better commute than Kalahari which is further north.

Check in was quick and easy and our room was spacious and comfortable (Bring a few dvds if you have kids as a player is provided).
The indoor waterpark consists of 2 big slides, a kiddie pool area, lazy river, hot-tub and main pool. My only gripe with the main pool is that at it's shallowest point about 3'6 there are 3 basketball hoops so if you have beginner or non swimmers this is the best place to hang out but you're bombarded with free throws. On 2 seperate occasions I was next to kids (not my own) who got into trouble and I had to grab them as they struggled. Bottom line is watch them like a hawk if your not in the water with them. Also don't get me, wrong the lifeguards are plentiful and alert. The general mood is laid back and relaxed and while the park is not as big as Kalahari the smaller number of people and shorter commute are big pluses.

On our first night there we ate out in Houlihans in downtown Lake Geneva. Highly recommend it if you want to get out and about. We also did the Thanksgiving dinner up in the Lake Geneva Resort and it was great. Food was very good and lots of choice.

If you have kids as I do you'll probably visit the game room so they can get tickets to redeem for useless junk. My best tip is to send the kids off to play or with your partner and you should focus on the Simpsons coin game. Hit the jackpot and you'll get about 300 tickets (The average game spits out 2-3 tickets per go). Hitting the jackpot is not that hard as I did it on about 4 tries out of 8. You look like a hero and your kids getting even better useless junk.

We would definitely go back.

We go every year and it is great!: Everything is wonderful there is so much for the kids to do. and plenty for the adults as well!
