My wife, and I went to try this restaurant after 2 hour waits for a table in Greensboro on Valentines Night. We first entered to see 3 tables occupied in the whole restaurant, and 3 waitresses standing around the register. We waited a minute for a waitress to take the time to seat us, and started looking at the menu.
I can't say I was very impressed with classic Italian dishes like Cheese Fries, Chicken Nuggets, and Onion Rings for an appetizer. We waited nearly 3 minutes for 1 of the 3 waitresses to come get our drink orders. We continued to look at the menu that offered very few appetizing Italian dishes.
I became increasing agitated when after 5 minutes of waiting for our waitress to come back with 2 Cokes. The 3 were standing at the register bantering back & forth right beside the soda fountain. We waited 2 more minutes, and we decided to leave. We got up, and left the restaurant without paying for drinks because they hadn't even poured them yet.
We were in Sopranos for all of 10 minutes without even being served. I really could care less if the Americanized Italian food was decent. It was the absolute worse service I have EVER received in my life. I have honestly gotten better service at McDonalds.
I will never recommend Sopranos, and I highly recommend trying somewhere else if you want service, and food.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe great service!: My mom is disabled and we order Sopranos every day, almost. We even have a made friends with the guy who delivers our food, his name is John. He is a great friend. He helps my mom alot by coming in when my mom is home alone and cannot come to the door (of course he knocks!).

Great Food, if you don't freeze: The food is great, especially delivery. However, when dining there, it is always freezing. Almost everyone in the place is still wearing their coats. The ranch there is THE best!! Its worth the cold.. :)

Wow, if waiting 10 whole minutes is the worst service ever, then perhaps you should keep to Greensboro area restaurants - They must all be 5-Star places!
When the restaurant is pretty much deserted, and the waitress are gossiping less than 15 feet from me instead of getting my order it is. I can understand if they are busy, but not when its that slow. I've never had service that bad including fast food to formal dress only restaurants.
