I shop here all the time for snake food as well as snakes. The employees are very friendly, always happy and well informed. I would recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of pet.

My mother and I got a chihuahua from BV a few weeks ago while I was visiting her. I was looking for a shih tzu, but the little chihuahuas were so cute, I got a little girl chihuahua instead. She was very loving and had a healthy coat and clean eyes, etc. They don't let a huge stream of customers torment the puppies like chain stores; they are in their own glass area. My puppy had her first shots already and the helpful cashier assisted us in selecting a bag that would allow my puppy to ride as a "carry on" back to New York. The airline told me that I had purchased an appropriate bag, so it worked out great. We got a discount on the food they had been feeding her, too. We were very satisfied with BV and both employees that helped us.

BV aquarium is a really great place to go! I got my Yorkie boy there 04/08 and took him to the vet 3 days later and he got a clean bill of health! Not a thing wrong, no colds, no worms, perfect heart, and so on! They DO NOT carry puppymill dogs! They know their dogs entire history/relatives/health/ etc. The employess are so nice and treated us like family! I will never step foot into another pet store other than BV as I have learned my lesson from getting VERY ill dogs from petland. BV is the place for me.
