Sakura Chaya

This restaurant is amazing!! The food is wonderful and the chefs are funny and inviting. We had a large graduation party at the restaurant and all of my guests had wonderful things to say about their food and service. The owner was such a wonderful help and her whole staff was pleasant and went above my expectations for the party. The staff was very attentive and brought anything we wanted quickly. The food was out of the world! It is the BEST Teppen Yaki place in Fresno!! I would definitely go back again and again!!! It is much better than Edo Ya or Japanese Kitchen because the staff is much more friendly and helpful. The sushi bar is extremely clean and has an array of options. On top of the great service and great food the restaurant is beautiful! Very clean and inviting, tons of seating available! Will go back!!! Thank you Sakura Chaya for making our party AMAZING!!!

This place is the best, it's so amazing. Their teppenyaki is to die for, I've been to other places and still Sakura Chaya has proveed to me their the best at it. They have excellent service and eveerbody is nice. I'm crazy for that place, tonight i'm going there for my bday with a bunch of my friends.

Terrible service!! After we got on to our server about waiting 30 minutes to order she decided that she didn't want to serve us and they sent her home. We got a new server and he was good! Asked to speak with the manager after our whole fiasco (it kept adding up throughout the whole evening) and he took 15 minutes to come out to then back track on everything he "said." Would not go back.
