I have been going to this AMAZING Indian restaurant since 2005 and let me tell you (as an Indian food connoisseur) it is one of the best out there. I was reading some of the bad reviews and the only thing I can think of is maybe they were having an off night - but 9 out of 10 times, the food is outstanding. Yes, the decor is outdated, but that does not take away from how good the food is!
I just love their samosas, malai kofta, vegetable korma, paneer tikka, chicken tikka, and aloo matar.
Definitely give this place a try! You will love it!
Oddly this place is better during the lunch buffet in my opinion. I've eaten there many times and I swear one time I tried the lunch buffet and there was nothing that wasn't excellent. I ate so much my wife and I appeared pregnant for several hours. For the money, you just can't beat it.
Then we had dinner and there was a limited wine selection plus the food just wasn't as good. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't compare to the lunch buffet.
Suffice it to say that you will have great food at Punjab Palace. Just go during lunch if you can.
yummy. the buffet is great and yummy. for 8 or 9 bucks its really worth it.
