Excellent.: I might wish that it was even bigger, but they are doing a great job with the space they have. It can get windy and cool-- bring something warm for the kids.
Great for any weather: We went to BADM for a Music Together demo discovered an amazing place to spend an afternoon. The outdoor areas include some great interactive exhibits, beautiful views, and _lots_ of stuff to climb on.
There are picnic tables available for your own lunch, or if you are in a hurry there is a cafe too.
We only got a taste of the indoor things because the weather was too nice to be inside. We will definitely be heading there again.
Exploratorium for the 'Two-Ager' crowd: We are newly minted members of Habitot in Berkeley...which is a dynamite Discovery Museum this last weekend...it blew even Habitot out of the water..making it look like a teaser to the big, blockbuster movie of the century. Ok, so maybe I'm being a little over the top. But in all seriousness, this place is everything a child (from babies to big kids) could possibly want, from the train room to the pirate ship (w/treasure hunt!) to the aquatic wonderland. There's simply no adequate way to describe this place..just imagine the Exploratorium for the 'Two-Ager' crowd...or better yet...check it out! You (and your wee ones) are guaranteed to love it.
