| About: | Longing for an experience that will remind you of those glorious summers you spent on the Mediterranean as a child? Okay, maybe you didn't live there, but you'll soon feel like a true Sardinian in this very authentic Italian eatery that serves homemade rolls and thick, wide-noodle linguine. You may see a celeb or two hiding out incognito in the corner since this is a favorite hangout among the Main Street trend-setters. The small size and dark lighting also add to its very intimate and romantic feel, but the true draw is the flavorful cuisine that shouts out, "That's amore!" |

ViaVeneto is from fare the THE best Italian restaurnt in LA.The waiters are amazing and just for the record, they speack Italian as they firt language that makes all the difference comparing to others Italian restaunts that they don´t have a clue about it.Costumers complains about the short space.Do they never went to Italy?Of course not.Italian people speaks fast and uses they hands to be understood, tipical Italy and that makes all the difference about this beatifufil EUROPE Contry.Stop complaing about the time food is severd eat some apetaizers, they are the best, drink some Moretis. If you want fast food go to Mac Donalds,as a matter of fact it is fast, cheap and no fun at all or even better,go to Italy and really enjoy the time, you´ll be surprise how wonderful it is not to be on a hurry.Relax and enjoy the best LA can give you about Italian food.Try not to be so serious about smal things.Life is to short to complain about good food.
There was no price on any main course menu. we order white fish and smell old,not flash plus no flavor at all.
what surprise was that this restaurant charged very tiny bottle of about $85 each and we had three bottle, guest how much Sunday dinner cost $308.00 for two person .
Plus this place so small table bearly able to put two disc on table.
definitely not worth paying or go back paying over $300 for two person.
I went here because I live in the neighborhood and Via Veneto always seems busy, at least on the weekends. While decor (here cold and impersonal) and service (good but not great) are nice to have, at these prices good food is essential. I had a pasta entree which was somewhat bland and little overcooked - a far cry from what you would get at a decent Italian restaurant in New York, much less Italy. Wine selection had the usual suspects. Overall, it would be par for course at half the price. Much better and more authentic Italian food can be had a 5 Dudley a few blocks away.
