I initially tried this place because of the good reviews.
I was okay with unorganized station, crappy shampoo/scalp massage, wet clothes (neck area) after shampoo, and asking repeatedly to buy different products or services because Cindy does decent cut for $40.
But not my last visit.
I asked her to do oval shape for my back, but it was a big mistake. I think this request is out of her comfort zone. It took so long to finalize (about 20 min more than usual), and the final look was choppy and way shorter. I didnât ask to cut shorter, so I told her that I am not happy that she cut TOO much. She gave me some bad excuses why she cut too much. She cut about 2 inch shorter!
Here are some tips:
- Do not wear sweater / turtle neck (You may get wet from shampoo. She did not wrap a towel around my neck when she did shampoo. I wore my sweater and was uncomfortable entire afternoon.)
- Be prepared to say No for additional products or services that she asks repeatedly; otherwise, you end up with a large bill with products/services you might not need.
- Be careful of a dirty cover. I was covered by hair (It was not only my hair because I saw some white/gray hair which I do not have) when I took off the cover. I think the inside of cover was not clean.
- Go with her suggestion. She is good at what she is comfortable / capable.
I will not go back to this place, but hope my comment will help you to have a good experience at Delight Hair Salon.

I am so glad I found Cindy and Delight Hair Salon.
She understood my need and the style I wanted and got. Her staff is friendly and helpful. I would have to recommend Cindy and her staff. Thank You Ladies.

I was referred to Delight Salon by a neighbor and I have to stay I am SO HAPPY! The staff is very friendly and Cindy really takes the time to get to know what you want. I got a great haircut and a fabulous highlight. I am so thrilled to have found a great hairdresser so close to my home!!
