User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFood at Holden's was great - nice selection of veggies and salads. I love that they had a cold pitcher of water waiting for you on the table. I was so full after just tasting the different salads I couldn't find room for the delicious looking desserts. I will definitely eat here again if I ever make it back to Bakersfield.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIf you are ever traveling along the road and if you end up in Bakersfield Ca. go to Hodel's it is truly the best place to go to for great cafeteria style country dining everything is out there and it looks really tempting and good and of course the food is really great tasting too. so if you want great food to eat while you are traveling go to Hodel's it is the best place to go to for great cafeteria country style dining, yummy.

The buffet is great. Everyday, they serve different meat dishes for their lunch and dinner menu. They have a large salad & fruit bar. A great variety of muffins and the best cinnamon rolls ever! A variety of soups offered and the best broccoli salad ever. It's a better than average buffet. Great price for the quality of food. Worthwhile for the entire family. Wonderful family atmosphere!
