Mecca Grill

We finally tried this place. Didn't know what it was called until we saw the menu. I got the kibbi, and my husband got the grilled chicken. Best chicken he's ever had, and the kibbi was incredible. The bill, including appetizers was $20. Wow. We will be going back as often as possible and bringing all of our friends. The guy was really nice too. I think he does everything himself! I hope they stay there forever, because this will easily become one of our favorite restaurants.

Our favorite new discovery!: We tried this place out of curiosity - it far exceeded our expectations!! The lamb kebab was the best lamb I've ever had (which I don't normally order, but his was fresh from the market that day!) He goes to a lot of effort to make very authentic dishes, which are very difficult if you know anything about Middle Eastern cooking. My parents went to school in Beirut and I've had lots of homemade dishes, so I know this is very authentic, and DELICIOUS!! Its not your glamorous type of shi-shi restaurant, but genuinely great food with lots of care and authenticity. The appetizer sampler (hummus, babaganoush, falafel)and baklava were also excellent. We go at least once a week now. Highly recommended!

The Best around!!!: This is the BEST lebanese food I've ever had (and we try a lot of places). The guy does everything himself. Just be patient if it takes a while.....it's worth it!!
We're HOOKED on the babagannoush and hummous. Ask him what the daily special is, because it's never a let down. ENJOY!
