    Where do I even start on how GREAT Dr. Long is.. He has been our Dr. since my boys where 5 and they are now 18 seniors and I have a daughter 19 in college..He is also my Doctor.. I love him because he will not rush you and explains every detail.. If he thinks you need a visual well he'll take you over to his office and bring out the books and slide shows so you get what he's saying.. My twins have disorders and they require a PPT (meeting) in school to note what is the best option for them well Dr. Long showed up at the school for a meeting..I was surprised..He explained my twins conditions and had an input on what will work as far as being able to learn and focus in class..I want to know how many doctors take time out of there busy schedule to go to a school meeting for one of their patients? That just goes to show you his character and his passion for the work he loves to do. I can go on and on about Dr. Long =) If your looking for a GREAT doctor with a excellent bedside manner stop right here you just found him!

    Dr. Long is THE BEST.He was actually my first pediatrician when I was a child.When I was pregnant and searching for a doctor for my twins my sister in law suggested Dr Long.I called him and we set up an apointment,we new almost immediately he was the doctor for us! He was straight foward and honest.In my 5th month of pregnancy I found out my son had hydronephrosis in one kidney Dr. Long called me within 2 days of the diagnosis and told me what hydronephrosis was in plain english,I was so greatful.
    Later in my pregnancy we met to discuss breastfeeding(Dr.Long is a big supporter and is also a "lactation consultant")He helped me understand what I was doing.Everytime one or both of the kids is sick or even myself we are seen or called back almost immediately.All the nurses are sooooooooo nice too! They all are very helpful and the kids love them.My family will never leave his practice

    My daughter (13) and I recently moved to CT. A coworker referred Dr. Long to us. What an OUTSTANDING doctor. Currently he is working exclusively with adolescents which can be difficult at best. Dr Long explains EVERYTHING; he keeps information totally confidential between him and the child. He is thorough, up to date, caring, progressive, and knowledgeable. Dr. Long is a blessing. Now if I could just find a doctor like this for myself..........
