"How much did you say those tickets cost?": Nice but definitely hyped. It's got everything that free-wheeling younger folks with few cares about value like: It's in the middle of G'town. It's ridiculously expensive at $10.50 for a regular ticket and $9.50 for students. Parking costs $7---even with validation. The quality of sound isn't the best around. You can be seen coming and going. It takes half an hour to get out of the garage after a show. Once out, you're in the cleverly chaotic milieu of G'town traffic and citylife.

I don't get it.

Location: located in Georgetown across from the waterfront. Even though it's still kind of new because new owners have taken over this place it's not as clean as it use to be but it's big shows the latest flicks and parking is all around and so are the cabs.

My first choice for first runs: If a first run movie is playing @ G'town its my first choice. It has the normal amentities of a newly built theatre: Big screens, good sound, stadium seating, snuggle seating, etc. But also it has less teenagers and children (even the ones there aren't suburban loudmouth brats), decent hot food and a rather good movie selection. Its also close to shopping and dining. The only negatives can be expected in the city: can be really packed, must get there early to get a ticket and seat, not many indy film picks and parking is a hassle (if u want it for free).
