I can't imagine that there are people out there that like Nichols this much...but apparently there are some folks out there that are satisfied with cold, greasy fries and a cheap hot dog with canned(tastes like it anyway) chili?
Do yourself a favor and find the local Beef O'Brady's - or even the Wendy's on Friendship Rd. and leave Nichols to the locals that apparently have been lulled into thinking that what Nichols serves is good eats.
Alton Brown would keep on driving. I do, and you should too. Don't say I didn't warn you - despite all the ooohing and ahhhing you see here.

excellent chili dogs, some of the best fried chicken in the poultry capitol of the world too. shakes are fantastic as are all fountain specialties. friendly staff operating in a lcean new building. burgers are awesome too. i liked everything about the place!

We had fun and enjoyed our hot dogs but the place needs to spruce up a little. It was a little run down.
