Dr. Hogan is our childrens Doctor and I agree with the previous posts. She is amazing. She is truly concerned for our childrens well being and wants the best for them. In the past I felt like some Dr's are just looking out for them and trying to make a living only but Dr. Hogan is takes time with your child and even follows up if there is ever a problem. One time we went to a local Drug Store and they didn't have the prescription right and Dr. Hogan was very quick to call and tell them what to do. She also is very attentive to the details. Thank God for Dr. Hogan!!

We went to Gwinnett Pediatrics for eleven years and just weren't happy. We felt like a number and dreaded the long waits on both the phones and at our appointments. We saw a different doctor every time and after many years, they still did not know my kids. Found Sunshine Peds after moving to the Chateau Elan area and just loved her from the first visit. The staff is friendly and this is the first time I've had a pediatrician that hasn't rushed through appointments and that reaches out to know my children on a personal level. We love how she tries to implement some homeopathy methods with traditional medicine. She's not trigger happy with the antibiotics like other doctors have been. On our second visit, Dr. Hogan felt that our daughter was ill enough to be hospitalized (after recognizing what test needed to be done and being sharp to diagnose right away). She visited the hospital each day and showed care and concern until we checked out. We love Dr. Hogan and are just elated to have found this practice. I will say that I'm not as crazy about the Nurse Practitioner. I always ask to be seen by Dr. Hogan. She has a new young doctor working with her who seems to be very nice, however we have not been seen by her.

My kids love Sunshine Pediatrics! Dr. Dana Hogan is the best Pediatrician in Winder. I have 3 kids plus my niece and nephew with me at each visit. Dr. Hogan makes it a point to know each kid by name and speaks to each one. Dr. Hogan really stood up for my son when the hospital did not treat him right. She stands by all her patients. She has the friendliest staff. Joan is the best and she works so hard to do whatever Dr. Hogan needs. She also makes it a point to know every kid by name. Joan is probably the happiest person I have ever seen! Before Dr. Hogan, I visited the same Pediatrian for 11 years. In the 11 years, they still did not know my child by her name. It is so great to have a friendly and caring Doctor! Thanks, Dr. Hogan and Joan for everything!
