User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI really like this restaurant. Everything I've tried is tasty. The service is good. Sometimes it has been a little noisy and they seated me right next to rowdy kids.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI gave this five stars because my family loves to eat here almost every week. Granted, it is your basic Mexican food, but it's one of the cheapest places in town and you can't beat the location if you live in Honey Creek. We are always seated and served quickly. The steak fajita nachos are my favorite and I always ask for the onion/cilantro caddy to spice up my salsa.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy wife and I just ate at the Honey Creek location, They came out very quickly with chips and got our drink order then took our food order. Our waitress had refilled our drinks once which were a Sweet tea and a diet coke Also 1 Margarita. 40 minutes had passed and our food had still not come out, our waitress then asked us if we had recieved our food yet. She went to check on our orders and came back after a couple of minutes and said that our food was coming out. Five minutes passed and we're getting very frustrated because our food was still not out. We are about to leave and then our food finally came. Our orders were not right. We had both ordered the beef nachos, which in my opinion should have only taken ten minutes at the most to get done and on our table. I specifically asked for no sour cream but there was a giant blob of sour cream on top of my nachos. So the waitress took my plate back to the kitchen and 5 minutes later brought out my order without sour cream. When I touched the plate to move it, my plate was barely warm. My wife had very little cheese if any on her nachos so it took a couple of minutes and we told the waitress that there was no cheese on her nachos. She then took her plate back to the kitchen and came back out a couple of minutes later with her plate and it was just smothered with cheese. Needless our experience this night July 7, 2008 was very poor and the waitress did not even offer to take anything off the bill. We will NOT be eating at Los Charros Ever again. We usually always eat at Frontera mex-mex grill and our food and service there has alway been the very best. I guess we'll know better than to go anwhere else from now on. We could have had a better experience eating at Taco Bell.

you ever stop to think that MAYBE the waitress was new? or maybe she had other CUSTOMERS to take care of? no one is perfect leejreedy, no, not even YOU. Why would you let one bad experience stop you from spending money at one certain place ever again? you ever bought anything from a store, and ended up taking it back because something was wrong with it? or it was broken? i BET you still shop at that store, dont you? yeah, that's what I thought. If 40 mins had gone by and you still didn't have your food, was your waitress the only one working? or could you have asked for a manager to see what the deal was, instead of sitting there getting pissed off more and more with every minute that went by (since you were obviously watching the hand on your watch)? yes, a MANAGER can take things off your bill, usually the waitresses cannot without the approval of a manager. so maybe next time you go to frontera, you can complain with them, if you'd speak up, and they'll kiss your ass and give you a free meal. Better experience at taco bell...eating food thats been dropped on the floor and only God knows what else.....GO AHEAD. you'd probably be better off there where no one has to deal with you but only to take your order, you can get your OWN REFILLS and clean your OWN table off. you sure that's real beef on that taco?????
