    Urban Sophistication in a Rural Setting: The City Tavern offers a broad variety of sophisticated food, specializing in steaks, seafod, and sushi. We used to live in Chicago, and I always tell visitors that the City Tavern is a place that could make it in the City- they have a level of sophistication that would normall be unusual in a small town like Culver (pop. 1700). But many visitors and summer residents from Chicago and Indianapolis make it possible to have an urban restaurant in this small town. The City Tavern's menu varies daily, with creative specials being offered. I can recommend any of their steaks and seafood dishes, as well as the Bruschetta Trio and Sashimi Tuna appetizers. If you are in the mood for a smaller meal, the Tavern's burger is first class, and they offer excellent small plates such as their Bang Bang Steak skewers.

    City Tavern is a Delight: Tucked away in little rural Marshall county is this jewel repleat with delicious cuisine, upscale casual ambiance, and a "midwestern friendly" professional staff all at a reasonable price. Without hesitation I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    I love your Food!: I love the food at the City Tavern so much I tell people all the time how it's my favorite restaurant. My favorite is the Tavern Style Chicken.
