My children were seen in this office including myself. Everything was fine at first. Then they started to replace fillings for reasons that are beyond me. Shortly after these "replacement fillings"..that the assistants did.... 2 of my children needed multiple "ROOT CANALS." and wouldn't you know they were the exact same teeth that had these replacement fillings. Now mind you one child is 17 and the other is 12....I took them to a different Dental office who completed their own set of x-rays. These x-rays revealed that the work that was done by the Heartland Crossing Dental Care (Dr. Mundy and staff) are grounds for a law suit. The new Dentist personally showed me the spaces and gaps within the fillings. " Pockets if you will." One tooth that had "this replacement filling" showed an OPEN space between the filling and the back of the tooth. No wonder my daughter was in pain !!!! What makes it even worse is I have called the office twice (within the last 2 weeks) requesting for the office manager to please return my call. As of today's date I have yet gotten that call. My children had Hoosier Health Wise at the time, and I can't help but wonder is this unnecessay work was done for finaincal gain. Please be aware of this office. They have costed my children hours of PAIN, and not to mention the out of pocket expense we are now paying to have their teeth fixed. I also am concerned that Assistants can do fillings. In every dental office that I have been to (except this one) the Dentist always does the drilling and the fillings. In this office the Dentist does the drilling and the assistants do the filling. If Dr. Mundy would have carefully looked or taken x-rays to check these fillings she would have seen the apauling work that was done. I guess you can't trust anyone......
