BAD,BAD, and BAD food and service.
Never go to this restaurant.
We went there for lunch buffet at 1:15, and most of foods and empty and dried, and they didn't refill even though the lunch is until 3 PM.
Also, the people work there are very rude.
I give 0.5 star.
I agree with the reviewers who like this restaurant. It is without doubt one of the best for miles around. However, it does what Indian restaurants the world over do: it adapts to local taste. You could feed the average Massachusetts resident a plate of bland cheese and sugar and they would think they were eating fine dining. It is telling that the 5 star reviews of this restaurant mention how pleased they are with the quantity of the food. And yes, for those of you who really do understand food, the portions are too large. Finally, some Indian dishes have an inherent level of spiciness. A Korma, for example, is always mild and creamy by its very nature. A vindaloo on the other hand is always fairly fierce. When I'm cooking a vindaloo (traditionally a lamb dish) I start it out around 10-14 days before I'm planning to serve it. Consequently I find it very bizarre to be asked if I want my Korma spicy or my vindaloo mild. Of all of the countries where I have lived and worked, it is only in America that I have found this absurdity. Nevertheless, the fact remains that I am about to drive 8 miles to pick up some food from Gold Star. It really is as good as it gets in Metro West!
Very bad food ... should not be called Indian food. People who have no idea about Indian food may be able to appreciate it.
Poor ambience, ill mannered staff. Rude owner! Last week was my first and last time there.
