I helped my friend book a Baby Shower at Finz in Dedham and Kathleen the function manager was out of this world! She helped us with all the planning and saw to every last detail.
The food was wonderful and the servers and bartender were very accommodating.
I love the renovations and having a bar, restrooms and an elevator nearby made it very easy for the elderly guests.
I would not hesitate to refer Finz and Kathleen to anyone.
In fact I told our HR Manager and she is going to book our company holiday party with Kathleen for 130 people.
Again, EXCELLENT!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI had a chance to eat at Finz twice in the last month, once for lunch and once for dinner. The atmosphere is upscale and fairly conservative. The servers on both occasions were very helpful with the menu, as well with wine to accompany dinner selection. Raw shell fish was excellent. We had the shellfish tower and found everything fresh and delicious. The Seafood Risotto was terrific and I would highly recommend. In my opinion, Finz is the best seafood restaurant in the Dedham area, and one of the better restaurants in general.

I made a reservation on Monday for Tuesday requesting a quite table for four and informed whomever that we were celebrating a Birthday. Apon arrival our group was seating at booth to the right of the bar(not so quite) and next to a desk where dirty dishes and wet rags for the table were taken.(Yum)
We waited twenty minutes for the waitress tocome back after delivering the menus, so one of us finally asked her what the specials were and what the catch of the day was. Our salads came out before the app. and the entrees that were ordered with seasonings on the side came with it on it. The potatos were dry and the halibut was fishy. The waitress was friendly but terrible. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, after ordering drinks, apps, salads and entrees we left extremely disappointed in the service and food.
